In the abduction narrative alone, samples of human DNA (sperm, ova, fluids, skin samples etc) are constantly being gathered, stored, examined, and supposedly processed in some way in every single accounting. WHY??

IF -- and a very large IF it remains -- the Chrononaut hypothesis is viable, then we can make the assumption that returns are being engineered to gather human DNA for some purpose...to possibly "fix" something in the future -- I'm going farther out on a limb that Spielberg's "documenting anthropologists," which strikes me as a copout of perhaps deliberate proportions, leaving huge gaps in the narrative unspoken.

Taking into account the major degradation of the greys' biology (IF they are US in the future), then we can assume that something happened necessitating their procurement of uncorrupted DNA. 

Could this be an extrapolated and force-magnified-by-time extinction level event (ELE)?? What if something had happened to their (our) human germline which manifested a precipitous dropoff in fertility, in overall births, which threatened the continuation of the human (such as it is) species??

I'm just throwin darts at the Keel board here, not even taking into account the possibility of deception, demons, Free Will, even the possibility of the Many-Worlds-Hypothesis of multiple timelines and Donnie Darko Tangent Universes....there could certainly be more than one eventuality at play here; competing timelines vying for position in whatever ultimate realities ensue, of which any possibility might be just ONE of a million branches in a million brane paths.
